Many high school seniors & young adults with severe cognitive disabilities continue to need support with everyday tasks such as cooking, cleaning, hygiene & shopping. At Cognitive Independence, these individuals can continue to receive tutoring, training & support with these needs in the community. I specialize in teaching people with autism, down syndrome & moderate to severe intellectual disability how to live as independently as possible for their individual abilities.

Reaching Your Goal

At Cognitive Independence, we work to empower every mind. We recognize that tasks like shopping, laundry, money management, and cooking can be challenging. We work closely with clients to identify their needs and goals, providing tailored guidance to foster confidence and autonomy.

Why hire a personal coach & advocate?
Individuals with cognitive disabilities can significantly enhance their independence with the support of a teacher & life coach. A coach provides crucial guidance by teaching essential life skills, aiding in decision-making, and boosting confidence in social interactions. By empowering these individuals, a coach equips them with the tools they need to thrive in everyday life and engage meaningfully in their communities. An advocate can help guide parents and caregivers through school and medical appointments to ensure that your loved one receives the care needed to make meaningful gains toward independence.
