Why hire an advocate? Why does my loved one need after-care?
Individuals with cognitive disabilities can significantly enhance their independence with the support of an after-care specialist who provides crucial guidance by teaching essential life skills, aiding in decision-making, and boosting confidence in social interactions. An advocate can help guide parents and caregivers through school services and IEP meetings to ensure that your loved one receives the care needed to make meaningful gains toward independence.
